I’ve always been interested in how fragile the human body is and the multiple ways for people to get injured. So I decided to bring that idea into my art pieces, while some pieces have a comedic feel and a back story of how each person got injured. When I first started my investigation, I realized I kept creating bloody injuries only. So I decided to expand myself with ideas by experimenting with smaller injuries but make them exaggerated. For example in one of my art pieces it’s a lady with an eye contact stuck in her eyelid. Although the piece doesn’t have any blood, it expresses how painful it is. Throughout my journey with my art, I tried to change up situations of injuries such as inflicted, self inflicted or accidental injuries.
