In this investigation I wanted to explore themes and topics I started to flesh out since the beginning of this course. My prior investigations were not only experimenting with certain styles, angles, and themes but documentation of myself and my relationship with loneliness and isolation. Previously I’ve shot in black and white and shown scenes of bleak and disturbingly lonesome imagery, which spoke of my mental state during that time and also how my world felt with how COVID-19 impacted my life. In this investigation the color has begun to return, places that I’ve shot previously are showing signs of life, even if it’s alone, it can be peaceful and fulfilling.
